We’re more than half way through the 2013 Ayurvedic Immersion and I’m humbled at the amazing changes this group is making in their lives!
We began in August with three classes learning about and discussing the fundamentals of Ayurveda, and then using that basis these folks each had the opportunity to choose something to manifest in their life over the course of the rest of the program, and they aimed big! After their one on one consultations with me, we’ve created plans to make these ideas reality. People are changing deeply ingrained mental patterns, are learning how to modify their food choices for symptom free digestion, have changed the way they interact with people around them, are making choices for healthy relationships, are becoming happier at work, and are making their lives more and more the way they want them to be. And that’s not all… the list goes on.
Ayurveda may be an “ancient science,” but it’s been around for more than 5000 years for a reason. The principles work, even in this society that seems so vastly removed from the caves of the rishis where the knowledge originated.
Something that I love seeing in action is the domino effect that happens when awareness is brought to one little area of life. You change something about your diet and suddenly you realize you don’t have to interact with the people around you in the same way, or you take fifteen minutes of silence and all of a sudden the previous three hours of chaos doesn’t seem like such a big deal, or you take it upon yourself to manifest something that you feel is missing from your relationship and there you find yourself head over heels in love again. It’s different for everyone, and this is why Ayurveda is amazing. Because it recognizes that we’re each unique, that physically, mentally, and emotionally we each need something unique to make us truly happy, and it helps us create that unique life to support us in being the happiest, healthiest, people we can possibly be.
Truly inspirational!
